Splashpress Media Blog Network Adds ScratchBack
Wednesday
Mar 19, 2008

Well, the cat is out of the bag. We hinted the other day that a big blog network was adopting ScratchBack. We can say it now, it’s Splashpress Media. Check out the announcement here on David’s blog (he runs their marketing).
One of the advertising systems I have enjoyed here on this blog is Scratchback. It is a system that allows readers to tip the blogger and show their link on the blog. The great thing about the system is that links are done using JavaScript which means they shouldn’t create any issues with Google like other text link systems. The other great thing is that the blogger sets the price and time.
I have used the system on this blog for a while, selling ten dollar links, but Splashpress’ prices are insane. If you want to get links on The Blog Herald, Blogging Pro or other blogs in the Splashpress Media family, here is your chance.
So head on over to some of their blogs and enjoy a super low-cost way to advertise on their huge traffic. I believe most of the widgets they put up are set to only a $5.00 tip.
Here’s a few blogs that have it going already. Go tip!

And we have plans to integrate it in even more sites. Prices will be determined as we go along, but hopefully they will be of great value to our readers and our bloggers.
Thanks again for creating such an easy to use system.

David, thanks for using ScratchBack. Please keep us up to date on which blogs are using it? I know a lot of tippers would love to tip your great blogs. Such a great deal.

ForeverGeek.com now has the banner up and running. We plan on adding it to Business Logs, Wisdump, Tubetorial, and Cutline very shortly.
After that, we will probably be adding it to our other high traffic sites over the coming weeks like Celebrific, Erati and Filmsy. While these sites aren’t focused on bloggers, with the low prices, and high return on investment, we hope they will be well received.
I can’t tell you how excited we are to have an easy way for our readers and fans to help pay for the content that our writers are producing.

That’s the good thing with this widget too. You are able to reach other high traffic blogs and website that use it and tip them while getting advertising back from them at a lower price too…

My blog my be new but is getting pretty popular for it’s young age! I make treasuries on Etsy and post them on my blog, so there’s very little reading required! I’m doing a 30 Day spot for only $5!!

This is such a great idea for a small blog and store site like mine that gets a lot of repeat traffic. Most of what I offer is evergreen and many of our readers show up weekly to read more of the historic posts about plus size shopping, body image and size acceptance. Thank you for a bright idea!
